  • Help develop product vision and strategy that bridges the gap between consumer needs and behavior

  • Helped develop user-centric research methodologies for the team - Immersive Computing

  • Planned, designed and conducted generative user and product research through rapid ethnography, interviews, participatory design workshops, concept value testing

Projects: Frugal Packaging - South East Asia, Africa regions

Responsibilities:

  • Conducted qualitative and quantitative consumer and market research to provide comprehensive analysis of consumer laundry and product purchasing habits of respective regions

  • Designed budget packaging solutions through opportunity mapping, conceptualization and developing prototypes

  • Collaborated with engineers to develop the prototypes for lab testing

  • Created structural packaging solutions for the years 2015 - 2017

Responsibilities:

  • As part of the founder’s team, planned and drove the early consumer and market research for the startup, leveraging my design background and previous experience of conducting research in Indian villages

  • Identified and mapped opportunities in rural consumer mindset and behavior, to build prototypes for testing

  • Created UX wireframes and UI prototypes for the mobile app

  • Conducted prototypes for testing the brand identity and delivery packages

Responsibilities:

  • Designed service apartments for the hotel ‘Le Sutra, Mumbai’ inspired from the arts and crafts of Indian tribes

  • Led a team of craftsmen, artists, interior designer and intern, sculptors, stylists, furniture makers and the executive team for development and construction of the service apartments

Krishi Star (Dec 2012 - Mar 2013)

DESIGNER

Responsibilities:

  • Developed branding for the startup that helps marginal farmers increase their income through setting up cooperatively owned food processing units.

  • Designed marketing collateral like company website, packaging, business cards and stationery, focusing the company’s core values and representing the Indian farmers.

Projects: Global laundry platform ‘Dirt is Good’ (DiG) Powder Detergent, Global laundry platform (DiG) Liquid Detergent,

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborated with the multidisciplinary R&D team on final year collage project at National Institute of Design (NID)

  • Designed flexible packaging for both liquid and powder laundry detergent.

  • Coordinated with international teams to collaborate on conducting specific regional consumer research.

  • Establish methodologies to document user feedback for prototypes.
